Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll have noticed that AI has taken the world by storm. Indeed, it’s harder to name a sector that hasn’t been impacted by AI over the past two years than it is to list those that have. From Healthcare, Finance, Retail and Logistics, through Entertainment & Media, Education, Agriculture, Manufacturing and Energy, to Environment & Sustainability, Legal & Compliance, Military & Defence, Human Resources and Real Estate – in just a short time, AI has transformed all of these industries. And this is only the beginning! It will be interesting to see what these sectors look like 5 years from now.
We at Intenda are enthused to be entering this era of rapid advance, and inspired by AI’s capacity to propel humanity forward through automation, data analysis, and innovation. AI opens up a wealth of possibilities that did not previously exist, and as a tech company, we’re constantly exploring ways to harness its power within our technology. We currently have a number of AI-focused projects in the pipeline, one of which we’re excited to reveal more about now.
Our Data Intelligence (DI) platform, released in 2024, has already shown enormous potential as a tool for deriving insights from enterprise data, and has added considerable value for our customers who have been using it. The next DI release, currently in development and due to be launched later this year, will take things up several notches, bringing the power of AI to enterprises.
Our approach focuses on making Large Language Models (LLMs) work seamlessly within an enterprise’s ecosystem by providing relevant and precise context to business-specific data. If you aren’t familiar with the concept of LLM’s, in short, they are a type of machine learning model designed to understand, generate, and interact with human language.
Data Intelligence platform’s key features will include:
Enterprise-Focused AI Solutions: The upcoming DI release will leverage open-source LLM’s that can be hosted entirely within an enterprise’s infrastructure or cloud tenant, ensuring complete data privacy and retaining intellectual property within the enterprise itself. This will elimintate any risk of data exposure to external models via the internet.
AI Teams with Autonomous Agents: The platform will enable AI agents to function as specialised team members. Equipped with tools and communication capabilities, these agents will be able to perform various tasks autonomously, and collaborate to handle more complex workflows without the need for constant human intervention.
Advanced-Data Querying: Users will be able to interact with our Data Intelligence Model through AI agents that act as Data Administrators, SQL Developers, or in other similar roles. This will allow users to query complex data sources (including but by no means limited to Fraxses) with simple, natural language questions. This powerful capability is set to be a gamechanger, accelerating insights while reducing the need for technical expertise.
Research Automation: The platform’s AI agents will perform comprehensive research on trends and topics by searching platforms like Google and YouTube. The agents will analyse content through summarisation, sentiment analysis and video transcription, and by extracting meaningful insights from comments. The benefits of being able to rapidly conduct and evaluate research in this way don’t need to be spelled out!

The development and finetuning of this powerful solution remains a key project on our roadmap. Pangolin provides support for Fraxses to run on an external Azure Databricks Spark environment. This gives organisations that have The latest version of Fraxses, <i>Pangolin</i>, is now available. existing Spark infrastructure and utilise Azure Databricks the flexibility to integrate Fraxses into their existing data ecosystem, rather than having to deploy the bundled Spark within a Fraxses cluster. Moreover, Pangolin allows for an external Azure Event Hub to be used as the Kafka cluster, thus The latest version of Fraxses, <i>Pangolin</i>, is now available. providing an alternative to the bundled Kafka that ships with Fraxses. This integration presents organisations that leverage Azure Event Hubs with a more scalable and native Kafka experience.
As with many of the enhancements and functions that have been incorporated over the course of the Fraxses platform’s evolution, several of Pangolin’s new features have been introduced in response to client demand.
