We often get asked whether Fraxses can solve a particular data challenge. Given the diversity of the organisations we’ve worked with during our time in business, it’s a reasonable question. Banking, insurance, utilities, government and many other sectors all have very different business objectives, systems and regulatory environments. Surely the data challenges faced by organisations in these sectors are unique to each organisation, or at the very least, to the industries in which they operate?

The short answer is – not necessarily. When prospective clients describe their data pain points, we often recognise familiar patterns. And the deeper we dig, the more apparent it becomes that many of the issues they’re experiencing are the very same or remarkably similar to ones we’ve addressed before, often in completely different organisations, industries and regions of the world.

While recently reviewing a number of our major Fraxses engagements, one thing became increasingly apparent. Although every organisation had its own unique objectives, systems and operating environment, many of the underlying enterprise data challenges kept recurring. That reinforced something we’d suspected for a long time: yes, every organisation is unique, but the foundations required to solve enterprise data challenges are often remarkably similar. Recognising those recurring patterns allows us to draw on proven approaches developed across many different engagements and apply them to new challenges more quickly and effectively.
